You may be wondering, how different wedding fashion trends could change from one year to another. Indeed the the industry has gone through so much loss and change post pandemic, and how different can a wedding dress really be? What inspiration could have influenced these trends?
Well, the answer is YOU!
The way we celebrate weddings today has been different from the past. More and more we are seeing smaller intimate weddings. We've seen fun themes, creative locations, and more emphasis on experience. We are creating wedding events that immerse our guests in the theme of our lives. It's absolutely inspiring!
So to celebrate your greatness, here are some fashion trends to expect in the next year.
COLOR
We have been seeing more and more color creep into the bridal scene. And who doesn't love color? Let's start with the various designs that have been made in various colors!
This is the LIANNE Gown by Marchesa Notte which can be found at BHLDN . It's bursting of blue and feathery ruffles for a one of a kind look.
Here we have the DEIRDRE dress by Marchesa for Pronovias. An elegant tulle A line with pink tone ombre on the skirt. A great dress for a beachy or garden wedding.
A princess Diana inspired look by Romona Keveža as part of her Legends by Romona Keveža collection. This is an elegant off the shoulder Tafetta look with stunning grey blue hues.
Although black dresses were a trend mostly in 2022, we will continue to see it in the next year. Black wedding gowns are very much in. This is the NICOLETTE dress by Casablanca Bridal in black and nude color. A romantic gown with floral lace appliqués.
Bridal Suits
OMG! This is a trend we are absolutely obsessed with! Suits started creeping up around 2020 and it has exploded in popularity. Don't want to wear a dress? No problem!
This dress alternative is sleek, chic, and on fleek.
Here are some gorgeous designs you can be inspired by if you are debating on this option.
We want to start with this powerful look by AMSALE! Just released for their Spring 2023 collection. You get the sophistication of the suit and elevated elegance in the tulle skirt.
Hello to this Ellipse Cutout Satin-Trimmed Crepe suit! This beautifully designed Italian suit by GALVAN is bound to turn heads with its unique cutouts and boho chic vibes!
Checkout this JANELLE jumpsuit (on left) and the TINA ensemble (below) with their edgy and fun design! Made by PANTORA one of our favorite designers out of NY! Andrea we love you! lol
Floral Design
Another beautiful trend is the floral patterns on wedding gowns. A lot of them are a mix of colors but the elegance is breathtaking. Here are some of our favorite floral looks:
We feature Romona Keveža again with this stunning Floral dress. From the balloon sleeves to the plunging neckline down to the slit this dress exudes elegance and vanity. The floral design is so vibrant and the color of fabric chosen is to die for.
Check out this MONIQUE LHUILLIER ballgown from her Bliss collection. She uses blush and green floral pattern over ivory. This flowy gown will turn heads with its beauty.
Here's MARISOL by AMSALE a silk crepe fit and flare dress with silk organza 3D appliqué. I mean my goodness, this is giving us sexy, elegant, and just pure WOW vibes. We've seen the floral patterns as part of the dress fabric in the last two gowns but this one is alive. Expect to see this for their Spring 2023 release.
As we get closer to the new year we will see how these designs will transform. We're definitely seeing 80's bridal trends coming back and some 60's inspiration as well. We'll come back with some of those looks in our next post as well as second wedding dresses for the reception and after party looks. Stay tuned and let us know if you liked this post!
